ABOUT US

As the Indonesian Lead Partner in the FIND4S (Enhancing Higher Education Capacity for Sustainable Data Driven Food Systems in INDonesia) project, Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) plays a central role in strengthening Indonesia’s higher education system in sustainable food systems. This initiative, running from 2024 to 2027, is part of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) programme, which focuses on modernizing curricula, fostering international collaboration, and enhancing academic excellence. Through FIND4S, UNDIP is committed to equipping students, lecturers, and researchers with the necessary skills and knowledge to tackle sustainability challenges in Indonesia’s food sector, leveraging digital innovation, industry engagement, and policy collaboration.

OUR GOALS

As a key member of the FIND4S consortium, Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) is committed to strengthening the capacity of Indonesian universities in the field of sustainable food systems. This is achieved by updating existing curricula, developing new courses and modules, and providing specialized training for lecturers. Through these efforts, UNDIP ensures that higher education in Indonesia remains relevant, innovative, and aligned with global sustainability goals.

A crucial aspect of this initiative is collaboration with the European FOOD4S Consortium, which provides expertise in Sustainable Food Systems Engineering, Technology, and Business. By integrating modern technology, environmental expertise, and interdisciplinary approaches, UNDIP aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to drive sustainable transformation in Indonesia’s food sector. This includes leveraging digitalization, smart food systems, and data-driven decision-making to address climate change, food security, and industry challenges.

Through FIND4S, UNDIP is dedicated to bridging academia with industry and policy-making, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared to contribute to a more resilient and sustainable food system in Indonesia and beyond.
