The Faculty of Agricultural Technology at Universitas Semarang (FTP USM) welcomed a visit from the FIND4S Program team of the Food Technology Department, Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences (FPP) at Diponegoro University (UNDIP) as part of a socialization event for the Erasmus+-funded program. The event featured Dr. Yoga Pratama, FIND4S program coordinator, who was accompanied by Project Leader Dr. Setya Budi M. Abduh and the Head of the Agriculture Department, Dr. Al-Baarri.
The event was attended by faculty leaders, around 15 lecturers and staff from FTP USM, as well as staff from the International Office. Their presence demonstrated USM’s enthusiasm and commitment to supporting the development of internationally collaborative academic programs.
The Dean of FTP USM, Prof. Haslina, expressed appreciation for the attention given by UNDIP’s Food Technology Program in initiating this program. “We fully support the FIND4S program as it provides opportunities for educational development, broadens academic perspectives, and opens up collaboration possibilities with European partners,” said Prof. Haslina.
FIND4S: Strengthening Academic and International Collaboration

The planning process for the FIND4S project began in late 2023, with the proposal approved in July 2024, followed by administrative verification. The Grant Agreement was officially signed on November 1, 2024.
Benefits of the FIND4S Program for Institutions
The socialization event also discussed various benefits institutions can gain from participating in the FIND4S program, including:
✅ Supporting institutions in achieving excellent accreditation
✅ Enhancing lecturers’ specific competencies
✅ Improving teaching quality as a strategy for achieving excellent accreditation
✅ Increasing the quantity and quality of faculty publications through consortium collaborations

It is expected that through this program, consortium member universities will continue to grow and become more competitive at both national and international levels. “We hope this collaboration will not only be short-term but will also be sustained to continuously improve the quality of education,” concluded Prof. Haslina.
