Ilmenau, Germany – June 13, 2025 – Amaliya Putri, an undergraduate student of Food Technology at Universitas Diponegoro, proudly represented Indonesia at the International Student Week in Ilmenau (ISWI) 2025. The event brought together participants from over 70 countries to discuss global issues aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Amaliya joined the thematic group “Opportunities for Youth and Children”, where she introduced her initiative, WriteYuk! (@writeyuk.id)—a youth-led non-profit organization she founded in 2023. WriteYuk! focuses on empowering young people through literacy, storytelling, and access to education. The digital platform provides a safe and inclusive space for students to develop their writing skills, share their stories, and build portfolios that support both academic and personal growth.

At the Opening Ceremony on June 13, Amaliya had the honor of delivering a speech before professors, experts, and fellow delegates from around the world. She shared the journey behind WriteYuk! and her motivation to create a space where every student could find their voice. “I started WriteYuk! because I believe that every student has a story worth telling,” she said. “Sometimes, all it takes is the right platform to be heard.” Her speech highlighted her belief in the power of small steps and community service to create a global impact. “I don’t just want to win for myself. I want others to feel moved to rise and walk alongside me,” she added passionately.

Amaliya’s academic achievements include being recognized as the 2nd Most Outstanding Student at Universitas Diponegoro and maintaining top student status in her faculty for three consecutive years. Despite these accolades, she remains committed to using her platform not for personal glory, but to inspire others to lead with purpose and service.

Her participation in ISWI 2025 is a testament to the global competence of Indonesian youth and the potential of Universitas Diponegoro students to make meaningful international contributions through social innovation.

This milestone was made possible with the support of PT Hutama Karya, Vendor Murah Tembalang, and Universitas Diponegoro—whose contributions were instrumental in bringing this journey to life.
