Semarang, June 3, 2025 — The Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences (FPP), Diponegoro University (UNDIP), represented by Anasrullah, S.P., M.S., a lecturer from the Undergraduate Agroecotechnology Program, continues to strengthen its international network through a strategic collaboration with the Faculty of Agriculture, Kasetsart University, Thailand. This partnership encompasses education, research, scientific publication, and staff-student exchange programs.
The international collaboration activities took place from May 27 to May 30, 2025, in Bangkok, Thailand. During the visit, both institutions agreed on several Implementation Arrangements that are currently in progress. Key points of the collaboration include:
- Co-authoring a review article for international publication
- Joint research in tropical agriculture and animal science
- Benchmarking of laboratories and university business units
- Academic staff exchange programs
- A planned signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a student exchange program, expected to commence next year
During the visit, Anasrullah, S.P., M.S., as the FPP UNDIP delegate, had the opportunity to meet with several key figures from the Faculty of Agriculture, Kasetsart University, including:
- Assoc. Prof. Tanee Sreewongchai, Ph.D. (Dean, Faculty of Agriculture)
- Assist. Prof. Donludee Jaisut, Ph.D. (Associate Dean of International Affairs)
- Assoc. Prof. Waraporn Juntarajumnong, Ph.D. (Head of Tropical Agriculture International Program)
- Assoc. Prof. Kannika Sajjaphan, Ph.D.
- Assist. Prof. Pattavipha Songkumarn, Ph.D.
- Assist. Prof. Wutthida Rattanapichai, Ph.D.
In addition to academic activities, Anasrullah, S.P., M.S. also attended Asia’s largest international agricultural and food product exhibition, “Thaifex – Anuga Asia 2025 Future Food Experience,” which showcased a wide range of innovations in agricultural and food processing products. The event provided valuable insights and knowledge on the latest trends and technologies in the development of future agricultural products.
This collaboration is expected to strengthen UNDIP’s position as a leading and globally competitive higher education institution, while making a meaningful contribution to the advancement of science and technology in the fields of agriculture and animal science.
