Semarang, September 2025 – Dr. Yoga Pratama, a lecturer from the Department of Food Technology, Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), is currently participating in a staff exchange program at the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, from September 3 to 19, 2025.
This academic exchange is part of an ongoing collaboration with Prof. Michael Rappolt, a world-renowned expert in lipid crystallization. The program focuses on joint research in the engineering of alternative lipid crystals, utilizing the University of Leeds’ state-of-the-art Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) facilities.
The program is made possible through funding from the World Class University (WCU) scheme of Universitas Diponegoro, with strong support from the Dean of the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Prof. Sugiharto, who has encouraged and facilitated this international collaboration.
Dr. Pratama expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting its potential to not only strengthen institutional partnerships but also to contribute to the advancement of lipid science. “I hope this collaboration will bring mutual benefits to both UNDIP and the University of Leeds, and provide meaningful contributions to the development of lipid research and applications,” he said.
