Kuala Lumpur, September 29, 2025 — Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) through the Laboratory of Animal Genetic Breeding and Reproduction officially signed a cooperation agreement with the Laboratory of Sustainable Animal Production and Biodiversity, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

This international partnership, signed by Asep Setiaji, Ph.D. (UNDIP) and Dr. Mamat Hamidi Kamalludin (UPM), marks a strong step toward advancing sustainable livestock and academic excellence.

Starting in 2026, the collaboration will focus on:
Student Exchange Programs for academic and cultural enrichment
Visiting Professors to strengthen knowledge transfer
Joint Research on Indonesian native chicken productivity
Community-Based Breeding Practices for cattle and goats to support rural sustainability

This initiative not only enhances research and innovation but also delivers direct benefits to communities, supporting the vision of sustainable animal production and rural development.
