Bangkok, Thailand – September 23, 2025. Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) proudly marked its active role in the 12th International Conference on Agriculture (AGRICO) 2025, held on 22–23 September 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand, organized by The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM). Carrying the global theme “Innovation Lightens the Future Way for Global Sustainable Food Security,” AGRICO 2025 gathered more than 150 international participants representing countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, the Philippines, Jordan, Japan, Sri Lanka, Lebanon, Germany, Iraq, the United Kingdom, Nigeria, and beyond.
As part of this prestigious academic forum, Annisa Firdauzi, S.P., M.P., lecturer of Agribusiness Program, Universitas Diponegoro, delivered a research presentation under the subtheme Marketing and Supply Chain in Agriculture. Her study – and teams (Joko Mariyono, Ph.D, Pramesti Megayana, M.Sc dan Fatikhah Nurul F, M.P), entitled “The Role of Cooperatives and Traders in High-Value Vegetable Supply Chains in Java, Indonesia,” emphasized the pivotal contribution of local institutions in improving market efficiency, ensuring sustainable supply, and enhancing the competitiveness of Indonesia’s horticultural sector. Annisa’s participation not only highlighted UNDIP’s research excellence but also underscored Indonesia’s strategic position in advancing global discussions on sustainable food systems. Through her engagement, she actively contributed to international dialogues on supply chain innovation, cooperative empowerment, and market resilience—all of which are critical in addressing challenges posed by climate change and globalization.
By presenting insights from Indonesia’s agricultural landscape, Annisa successfully drew attention to the importance of grassroots-level collaboration between farmers, cooperatives, and traders in achieving sustainable food security. Furthermore, her involvement created opportunities for future research collaborations, strengthening UNDIP’s global academic reputation in the field of agribusiness and sustainable development.
