The “Enhancing Higher Education Capacity for Sustainable Data-Driven Food Systems in Indonesia (FIND4S)” project marks a significant achievement for the Food Technology Study Program of the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences (FPP), Diponegoro University (UNDIP). This initiative, funded by Erasmus+, aims to enhance higher education capacity in Central Java by strengthening institutional facilities, updating food science curricula, training academic staff, and establishing research centers and modern laboratories. Additionally, the innovative programs developed under this project integrate environmental awareness and are tailored to meet labor market demands.
The project consortium consists of partner universities, including Universitas Semarang, Universitas Nasional Karang Turi, Universitas Tidar, Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang, Universitas 17 Agustus Semarang, and Universitas PGRI Semarang. European institutions involved include Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium), University College Dublin (Ireland), Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Portugal), and Hochschule Anhalt (Germany). This collaboration is expected to produce graduates from UNDIP’s Food Technology Program who are well-prepared to address challenges in sustainable food systems while strengthening the program’s national and international standing.
