Undip has a Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture. The Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture is one of the leading faculties at Undip. The vision is to become a superior faculty with international standards in the field of science and technology, livestock and agriculture in the tropics in 2030, while its mission is to develop superior educational programs in the field of tropical livestock to produce competitive graduates. The Animal Husbandry Study Program which consists of Bachelor of Animal Husbandry, Master of Animal Science, and Doctor of Animal Husbandry Sciences in 2022 just received international accreditation from ASIIN. Apart from the livestock study program, there are also two other study programs at Undip that have received this accreditation, namely the Agribusiness and Food Technology majors.
ASIIN (Akcreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturwissenschaften und der Mathematik) is an international accreditation institution originating from Germany for the disciplines of engineering, mathematics and science, agriculture, biology. ASIIN is supported by an alliance that includes universities, faculty associations, technical and scientific societies, professional organizations, and business associations that share a common commitment to quality development in higher education.
Obtaining this accreditation also confirmed FPP UNDIP as the Number 1 Favorite Faculty for animal husbandry majors in Indonesia. This cannot be separated from the role of the entire academic community within FPP UNDIP which always builds management that is integrated, comprehensive and sustainable. This international accreditation is also expected to increase the public’s sense of trust in FPP UNDIP which continues to strive to improve the quality of its services while continuing to improve to strengthen its position.
