THE Datapoints Impact Award 2022 is an assessment of UNDIP’s efforts in implementing and achieving SDG’s (Sustainable Development Goals), especially in addressing the impacts of climate change, including the implementation of energy efficiency and sustainability as well as other aspects such as environmental education and zero carbon or clean energy commitments. The Sustainable Development Goals is a global development agreement that was agreed by approximately 193 heads of states, including Indonesia. The SDG’s contain 17 goals and 169 targets that are global action plans for the next 15 years (effective from 2016 to 2030), to eradicate poverty, reduce inequality, and to protect the environment.

THE Datapoints Impact Award 2022 utilizes 4 Goals with impact metrics that can be linked to institutional efforts on climate change and the environment: SDG 7 (access to affordable and clean energy), SDG 11 (sustainable cities and communities), SDG 12 (responsible consumption and production) and, most relevantly, SDG 13 (climate action).
