The Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Science of Diponegoro University on Tuesday (24/05) visited the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) located in Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta. The visit was intended to discuss the cooperation agreed by FPP UNDIP with BRIN regarding the issue of using technology in the field of food technology.
Dean of the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Science, Prof. Dr. Ir. Bambang Waluyo Hadi Eko Prasetiyono, M.S., M.Agr., IPU. revealed that cooperation with BRIN can bring many positive effects on food technology problems faced by Indonesia. “The problem that commonly occurs in our environment is the lack of integration of technology with the food sector. Therefore, to be able to compete in the international realm, we need to integrate this. Cooperation between the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Science UNDIP with BRIN is expected to improve this.” he said when interviewed last Tuesday (24/05).
“In addition to technology integration issues, FPP hopes that will become more advanced in increasing food innovation and creativity so that it can be more competitive in the international realm.” continued Prof. Dr. Ir. Bambang Waluyo Hadi Eko Prasetiyono, M.S., M.Agr., IPU.
